How It's Made

Every piece at Creathings begins with porcelain slip — a fine liquid clay that we carefully pigment to achieve the colors we envision. This way, each shade is not just applied on the surface, but becomes part of the very body of the porcelain.

To bring form to our ideas, we work with plaster molds. Each mold is specially crafted, designed uniquely for the pieces we create and often custom-made to honor the requests of our clients. From the first sketch to the final mold, every stage is guided by intention and detail.

Sustainability is at the heart of our process. We never waste clay — instead, we recycle and reuse our porcelain slip, giving it a second life in new creations. In this way, every piece carries not only craftsmanship, but also a respect for resources and the environment.

All of this happens inside our studio in Istanbul, where tradition and contemporary design meet. Once shaped and refined, each piece is finished with a delicate transparent glaze — enhancing the porcelain’s natural translucency and giving it its timeless character.
