Products
Is your dinnerware dishwasher & microwave safe?
Yes, all of our porcelain pieces are fired at very high temperatures, making them both durable and practical for daily use. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. For best results, we recommend using gentle and eco-friendly detergents.
Do your plates show cutlery marks? How do I clean them?
Over time, all porcelain glazes can show light cutlery marks. Some flatware types may leave more visible traces, and certain finishes highlight them more. These marks are only superficial and do not harm the glaze. To remove them, we recommend using a gentle abrasive cleaner such as Bar Keeper’s Friend or The Pink Stuff.
Are your products durable?
Yes. Our pieces are made from Limoges porcelain and fired at industrial porcelain standards. They are designed for daily use at home and in restaurants. With proper care and storage, they will last for many years, even a lifetime.
What does it mean when a product is out-of-stock or low stock?
All of our items are handcrafted in small batches at our Istanbul studio. If an item is marked as low stock or out-of-stock, it usually means we are already making more. If the product is discontinued, it will be noted. You can click the "notify me" button on the product page and leave your email to be the first to know when it’s back.
Does your porcelain contain any harmful ingredients?
Absolutely not. All of our products are 100% lead-free and food-safe. We carefully select our glazes and pigments to ensure they meet international safety standards, so you can enjoy them with peace of mind.
How do your plates stack?
Our plates are designed to stack neatly in your cupboard. We recommend stacking no more than 12cm high to protect them from unnecessary weight.
Can I order custom products or out-of-stock items?
Yes! We’d be happy to discuss custom colors, sets, or restaurant orders. Please reach out to us via info@creathings.cowith your request.
Where can I buy your products?
Our porcelain is available through our online store and from our showroom in Istanbul (Etiler / Armutlu Yokuşu). You are always welcome to visit us to see the collection in person or to take a studio tour during open hours.
Returns
What is your return policy?
Because all Creathings pieces are handmade in small batches, we do not offer refunds to the original form of payment. If an item doesn’t work for you, we are happy to offer an exchange or store credit.
Not sure which size or color you’ll love most?
For large orders, we recommend starting with a single piece. For example, if you’re setting a table for 8, try purchasing 1 plate first. If you love it, you can complete your set with 7 more. This way, if you decide on another glaze or form, it’s much easier to exchange a few items instead of the entire set.
Items Broken in Shipment
We take great care in packaging with eco-friendly, recyclable materials, but occasionally breakage can occur during shipment. If your order arrives with a damaged item, please email us at info@creathings.co with your order number and a photo of the broken piece(s). We’ll quickly arrange a replacement for you.
Exchanging Items
Exchanges are available for items that are unused and in their original condition. To initiate an exchange, please email us within 14 days of receiving your order. We’ll provide you with a return label. Once the piece is safely received and shows no signs of use, we will send your new selection.
* If the new item is of higher value, we’ll invoice you for the difference.
* If it’s of lower value, we’ll issue a digital gift card for the remaining balance.
Please note: Exchanges are not available for Made-To-Order or Sale items.
Returning Items for Store Credit
If you prefer to return an item instead of exchanging, we will issue you a digital gift card (store credit) for the value of your return. Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery, and the item must be unused and in its original condition. A return label will be provided once you contact us.
Restocking Fee
As a small handmade business, every return requires detailed inspection and careful handling. To help cover these costs while keeping our prices fair, we apply a 10% restocking fee on returns for store credit.
Gifts & Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable. If you received a Creathings item as a gift and would like to exchange it, please contact us with your order number.
Seconds & Clearance Items
Items purchased as Seconds or Clearance are final sale. No returns or exchanges are available for these products. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us and we will promptly resolve the issue.
